Who are we?
We are the independent and non-political Trade Union of Novartis Czech Republic, formally recognized under Czech labour law as the employees' representative body. Our role is to ensure that the working environment at Novartis remains compliant, fair, and sustainable, while supporting constructive social dialogue between employees and the company.
We represent the collective interests of all employees — including non-members — focusing on working conditions, employment security, workplace wellbeing, and transparent people practices. We operate strictly within Czech and European labour legislation.
Through structured consultations and regular negotiations with Novartis local and global management, we work to secure conditions that go beyond statutory minimums — recent topics include the Hybrid Ways of Working framework, the Social Plan for restructuring, and the responsible use of digital employee-monitoring technologies.
